The ND-G500 is the "gateway" between the AVIC-F500BT and your car. It's a small, neat hideaway box that connects discreetly to the AVIC-F500BT.
When you attach the AVIC-F500BT, it will mute the radio and link the voice guidance, hands-free phone calls and sound from SD, US, and iPod content to the speakers of your car. Even when the navigation device is not in place, the ND-G500 boosts the original radio signal.
The ND-G500 is included as standard with your AVIC-F500BT, but you may want an additional unit to install in a second car. This gives you full flexibility of using the AVIC-F500BT in both cars, with full, amplified sound.

This digital signal processor can be easily hooked up; equipped with a Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II decoder, it will wrap you and your passengers in immersive 5.1 channel surround sound – for DVD video and audio sources.
With the DEQ-P6600's built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP), you can access an array of powerful tuning adjustments, such as the 3 x 3-band parametric equaliser, a highly flexible network set-up and Auto Time Alignment.
